Nicholas Dahl is an Associate Attorney with For Purpose Law Group. He holds dual specializations in Public Interest and Business law, and brings regulatory experience in the nonprofit legal sector to his current representative capacity. After completing his Accounting degree at Santa Clara University, he obtained his J.D. from Golden Gate University School of Law while working full-time as an investigator with the Charitable Trusts section of the California Attorney General’s Office.
The experience Nicholas gained while working at the California Attorney General’s office is invaluable to the Firm’s nonprofit clients.
As a Bay Area native and a lifelong Californian, Nicholas is passionate about protecting his community and supporting social progress. He helped represent disadvantaged California communities as a clinician for the Golden Gate University Environmental Law & Justice Clinic and served as a judicial extern for the Civil Harassment department of the San Francisco Superior Court. He and his family have helped coordinate a biannual holiday food drive for the Cambrian Park neighborhood of San Jose for the last 25 years, and he currently volunteers as a crisis counselor for a nonprofit organization that provides mental health support and outreach.
