Simi Rush brings more than 15 years of professional experience serving in various leadership roles throughout the country to FPLG. 

Simi is a Southern California native and earned her Master of Arts degree in Nonprofit Leadership and Management in 2010 from the University of San Diego alongside May Harris, FPLG’s Founding Partner.  Coupled with her professional history and educational background, Simi has a unique expertise: creating a hybrid of skills in sales and marketing, while also understanding the value of supporting the multi-faceted needs of nonprofit organizations.

Simi is also an entrepreneur, having founded a successful business where she honed her experience in sales, client service, and marketing. As a successful realtor, Simi rose to the top of regional charts in sales, leveraging technology and social media, as a way to successfully connect and offer value to her clients.

Simi has worked in development, raising millions in grant funding for a well-reputed charter school system in San Diego. She has also worked to scale up organizations and businesses in human resources and human capital. Simi has created comprehensive marketing materials for private universities, and has managed a variety of development and fundraising initiatives for a military nonprofit. 

In other words, Simi brings a wealth of knowledge from both her experience within nonprofit organizations and as an entrepreneur herself, utilizing her expertise to understand and anticipate the needs of FPLG’s nonprofit and social enterprise clients.
